FAQ:

What kind of cattle are these?  These are a great small cattle breed that are dual purpose, both dairy and beef.  Read more at these links:  American Dexter Cattle Association and Wikipedia.

How big do they get?   Dexters are about half the size of a Hereford.  The American Dexter Cattle Association says a 3 year old bull will be about 38-44 inches at the shoulder and weigh less than 1000 pounds, and a 3 year old cow will be about 36-42 inches at the shoulder and weigh less than 750 pounds.  They are great for small acreage!

Where are you located? We are located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country (in central Texas). See this map.  We currently do not offer delivery service for the cattle.

How can I reserve a calf?  Our policy is first-come, first-served.  We will reserve the calf of your choice by deposit, if the pickup date is not immediate.  Without a deposit, we cannot guarantee the calf you choose will still be available when you are ready.  We ask for half down as the deposit amount.
